Description
Apex Glass Coating
Note: you need to register on this site to purchase this product
Apex Glass has been formulated using advanced technology similar to that of Alpha Quartz, incorporating precursors which deposit a hydrophobic functionalized silica specifically designed for glass coatings. This innovative formulation utilizes extremely pure cosmetic grade low molecular weight componenets which penetrate deep into the glass pores creating a strong chemical bond to create a layer which reduces the glass porosity and repelling everything that is thrown at it.
The hydrophobic functionalized silica in Apex Glass provides exceptional water-repellent characteristics, resulting in superhydrophobic sheeting properties that begin to activate at speeds as low as 30 MPH. This significantly reduces the reliance on wiper blades, improving visibility and contributing to a safer driving experience, especially in adverse weather conditions.
The durability of Apex Glass is impressive, offering a minimum lifespan of 6-9 months on front windscreens. For side windows, the coating can last up to 2 years, providing long-term protection against environmental contaminants, water spots, and other potential damage.
For optimal performance, we recommend applying two coats of Apex Glass. This two-step application process maximizes the coating’s effectiveness, ensuring a robust and long-lasting protective barrier on your glass surfaces.
Application Instructions:
- Apply 10-15 drops of the product to your cotton applicator, ensuring a thick application.
- Wipe the product onto the glass using circular motions to effectively penetrate the glass pores. Allow it to sit for 3-5 minutes before removal.
- Use a new, high-quality short pile microfiber cloth to wipe off the product, removing as much as possible.
- Follow up with a second short pile microfiber cloth to ensure all residue is completely eliminated.
- Buff the surface with a new, high-quality long pile microfiber cloth for a polished finish.
- After application and removal, conduct a final inspection using your long pile microfiber cloth under a bright, diffused light source to confirm that no residue remains on the surface.
